True North Outfitters' refined safety procedures provide proven second and third layers of protection. We teach the participant, the partner and the team to assess risk carefully and to manage it effectively. Our guides are selected based on climbing ability, technique, people skills and past safety records. Each guide is certified in first aid and CPR and AMGA trained. Every TNO guide is an active member of the Red River Gorge Search and Rescue Team and our established emergency response procedures continue to set new standards in the industry.
